Video Compressor

Terms of Use

Last updated: July 13, 2026

1. Agreement

By downloading, installing, or using Video Compressor: Size Limit (the “App”), you agree to these Terms of Use. If you do not agree, do not use the App.

2. License and Apple Terms

The App is licensed, not sold. Subject to these Terms and Apple’s applicable App Store usage rules and Standard Licensed Application End User License Agreement, you receive a personal, non-transferable license to use the App on Apple-branded devices you own or control. If these Terms conflict with mandatory Apple terms, the applicable Apple terms control.

3. Paid App

The App is distributed as a paid download. All features included in the installed version are available without an in-app purchase or subscription. The App Store handles payment, licensing, Family Sharing availability, and refund requests under Apple’s applicable terms and policies. The developer does not receive or store your payment-card information.

4. Service Description and Technical Limits

The App analyzes and compresses a video toward the size limit you select. A file is presented as a successful compressed result only after the App verifies that its actual file size is at or below that limit. Some combinations of video length, content, format, and very small limits may not produce a playable result within the selected size.

Video compression is lossy and may reduce image or audio quality. The App provides quality estimates and recommendations, but does not guarantee lossless compression, preservation of the original quality, or successful processing of every video.

5. User Content and Responsibility

You retain all rights to videos you select, compress, save, or share. You are responsible for ensuring that you have the rights and permissions needed to process and share the content and for confirming the compressed result before using or distributing it. Keep an appropriate backup of important original files.

6. Temporary Files and Saved Results

The App uses on-device temporary storage while importing, analyzing, previewing, and compressing videos. Temporary files may be removed when the workflow is reset, cancelled, fails, or when iOS clears temporary storage. You are responsible for explicitly saving or sharing any result you wish to keep.

7. Prohibited Uses

  • Using the App in violation of law or the rights of another person.
  • Processing or sharing content without required copyright, privacy, publicity, or other permissions.
  • Attempting to disrupt, misuse, reverse-engineer, decompile, or unlawfully redistribute the App.
  • Using the App for fraudulent, harmful, or unauthorized purposes.

8. External Services

The App may open Apple’s App Store, the developer’s support page, legal pages, Photos, or the iOS share sheet when you request those actions. Availability and operation of external services are controlled by their respective providers and are subject to their terms.

9. Disclaimer and Limitation of Liability

To the extent permitted by applicable law, the App is provided “as is” and “as available,” without warranties of uninterrupted operation, error-free processing, or fitness for a particular purpose. The developer is not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or similar damages arising from use of or inability to use the App. Nothing in these Terms limits rights or remedies that cannot lawfully be excluded or limited.

10. Changes and Discontinuation

The App and these Terms may be updated, changed, suspended, or discontinued. The latest Terms will be posted on this page with the updated date.

11. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of Japan, except where the mandatory laws of your place of residence provide otherwise.
